Juli Aymí is a young clarinetist very active in the scene of swing of Barcelona has performed all over of the world travelling to Australia USA Europe and China His lyricism and musical ideas are amazing and that´s because he is one of the most requested clarinetists of the country He played with Ivanow Las Divinas Barcelona Jazz Orchestra Ignasi Terraza etc Josep Traver is an eclectic guitarist experienced in styles like swing jazz manouche bluegrass and etc Live concerts recordings and TV and radio appearances in Spain are also a regular activity He performed in Europe USA Ecuador Uruguay Brazil South Africa and Japan As a band guitar player he is part of Joan Chamorro & Andrea Motis Gumbo Jass Band Dumpy Lobsters among others This new release “Wine Impressions” comes from some wine sessions at Miravins the venue of the sommelier Carles Mira After three years of sessions in which they have combined live jazz wines and good sense of humour they liked to record this collection of songs in a duet format with clarinet and guitar They hope you would like this music that we love inspired by the masters Sidney Bechet Benny Goodman Django Reinhardt Charlie Christian among others
