Reissue of the album of the artistic project "Immigrasons" originally published in 2007 A work of documentation that allowed to form a repertoire of songs that were presented under the assumption that music is part of a personal and social baggage that accompanies our lives Through music they explored the feelings emotions memories and longings of people from Argentina and Catalonia who have experienced the forced migration from one country to another This album is dedicated to all these people Immigrasons is a meeting point an imaginary space where as if it were an agora musicians from completely different backgrounds and cultural backgrounds meet and exchange knowledge and sensibilities Immigrasons welcomes Catalan Italian and Argentine artists Some with a past linked to free-jazz others from avant-garde experimentation the afterlife to rock All gathered under the baton and guitar of Raül Fernández better known as Refree They sound among others from the classic tango ´Loca´ the very exciting ´L´emigrant´ built on a poem by Verdaguer 'Menuda' a song by a Serrat as much loved in Spain as it is in Argentina the traditional 'Baixant de la Font del Gat' merging into a delicious impossible with the 'Laura va' of the rock icon Argentine Luis Spinetta songs that take to heart the memory of those who leave their hopes and fears Apart from Raül Fernández the musicians of Immigrassons are Ernesto Snajer Sílvia Pérez Cruz who is the voice in all the songs Giovanni Di Domenico Guido Martínez Oriol Roca and Diego Alejandro
