Conceived in a clearly tonal language of the twentieth century with diatonic reminiscences, manners and chords with added notes effect "clusters", multiple harmony by fourths, fifths ... and great rhythmic variety, continues the path of Orff and Stravinski in terms of sound and choral-instrumental structure.
The chosen text of Livy is clearly a historical text, and the task was to convert it musically into an evocative thought. Evoke love, death, pain, war ... so that even the same interpreter is placed within the experience and pass it on to the listener, to the public. I intend, in this particular work, to have the power to transmit the evocation that the text provides, generating a transforming experience that forces us to capture an alien reality and today so distant but that can achieve a perfect understanding of the recreational scenic feeling with the listener's fantasy.
