he Board of Directors of the Acadèmia Catalana de la Música has decided to award the 2021 Alicia the Trajectory Award to Maria del Mar Bonet for her "creative, interpretive and professional excellence during the more than 50 years of experience", as well as for her "broad international recognition and the development of a great work of diffusion and recovery of traditional and root music ".

The winners of the second edition of the Alicia Awards will be announced next Monday at an event at the SGAE. Clara Peya, Nuria Rial, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Marco Mezquida, Cuarteto Casals and Xavier Sabata are some of the finalists in the various categories.
