Born in Córdoba (Spain) in 1992, Luis Casado had his first contact with music when he was eight years old, when he briefly played classical guitar in his hometown. However, it was not until he was 16 years old that he fell in love with the electric guitar.
After a brief period learning in Córdoba and playing in blues bands, he moved to Seville in 2010 to study with Fran Mazuelos, moment from which his musical concept changes and acquires dimensions totally unknown to him until that moment.
After passing through bands of blues, funk and soul, and under the teachings of Mazuelos, Casado begins to be interested in jazz, especially in two aspects: one of them, the jazz giants of the forties, fifties and sixties (Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins); the other, the great guitarists of all times (George Benson, Pat Metheny, Philip Catherine, Doug Raney).
After a period of acting in different places in Andalusia with changing projects, in 2016 he created Luis Casado Trio, a training that serves as a platform to play his compositions. In this project he experimented with different members and types of musicians, until in 2019 he recorded his first album, Tiempo Presente, accompanied by drummer Manu Pinzón and bassist Joan Masana.
