Un diálogo cordial

The recording of an album dedicated to one of the most outstanding figures in the international music scene of the last decades was a worthwhile undertaking for several reasons First of all Luis de Pablo has won wide and unanimous recognition both in Spain and abroad This and the fact that much of his oeuvre remains unrecorded – or out of print – make it necessary to recover a significant part of his compositional corpus Camilo Irizo who has worked closely with the composer himself over the past few years decided to start this recording project with one of De Pablo´s favourite instruments – the clarinet for which he has written many pieces both as a solo instrument and as part of an ensemble which required the involvement of the musicians of the Taller Sonoro to which Irizo belongs from its foundation
