Saxophonist Javier Ortí presents his first album as a leader surrounded by great musicians (Julian Sánchez TRUMPET, Angel Andrés Muñoz PIANO, Javier Delgado DOUBLE BASS and Nacho Megina DRUMS ) with those who interpret a repertoire of own songs in which you can hear influences both traditional jazz and hard bop, flamenco and classical music, all on the basis of joint creativity and expressiveness of each of its components, which make this project an interesting place for experimentation and improvisation as a connection and interaction among all its participants.
He began to study in the music band of Isla Cristina, expanding his studies in the conservatories of Huelva and Seville and later with Andrés Gomis. He receives classes from Jerry Bergonzi , Arturo Serra , Bill McHenry , Jorge Pardo , George Garzone and Dave Santoro . He is professor of saxophone of the C.P.M. Francisco Guerrero of Seville where he directs the Big Band of the Conservatory.
